The Visionary Behind KundanCrafts
Shweta - Founder
Shweta, the founder of Lippan Art Studio, hails from a small town where her love for art blossomed at a young age. Fascinated by the vibrant and intricate designs of Lippan art, a traditional mud and mirror craft from Kutch, Gujarat, she began experimenting with this art form within her family.
What started as a personal passion project soon gained recognition for its beauty and cultural significance. Shweta’s dedication to preserving this traditional craft led her to establish the Lippan Art Studio. Initially a family-centric endeavor, her work received acclaim for its authenticity and creativity, prompting her to expand the business.
She went on to form a community of artists and enthusiasts, offering workshops and fostering a deeper appreciation for Lippan art. Shweta’s vision is to blend tradition with innovation, creating sustainable, eco-friendly artworks that resonate with modern audiences while honoring the Rabari community’s heritage. Her commitment to empowering others through art has made her a respected figure in the creative industry.
